Terms of Service & User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

• By downloading, installing, accessing, or using People’s Byte Pro, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).

• By using this Service, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization.

3. License & Usage

• Chrisel grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use People’s Byte Pro.

• You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or misuse the software.

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes, including hacking, piracy, or violation of intellectual property rights.

4. Subscription & Payment

• The Pro version is subscription-based. Pricing is displayed in-app or on our website.

• Payments are processed via authorized international and Indian payment gateways (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, PayPal, Stripe, etc.).

• All amounts are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST in India, VAT or other local taxes internationally).

• Subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

• Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required under applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Data Privacy & Compliance

• We comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and international laws including GDPR (EU), CCPA (California, USA), and other applicable data protection laws.

• Your personal and system data is processed securely and encrypted.

• By using the App, you consent to our data collection and processing practices outlined in the Privacy Policy.

6. International Use

• Users outside India are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

• Data transfers are encrypted and handled according to international standards, including cross-border transfer requirements under GDPR.

7. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

• You agree not to upload or share malicious files or engage in prohibited conduct.

• Any misuse may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

• All rights, title, and interest in People’s Byte Pro remain with Chrisel Technolab.

• Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of our software is strictly prohibited.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

• The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.

• Chrisel disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chrisel shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Data loss, security breaches due to user negligence, or third-party failures.

• Liability shall not exceed the subscription fee paid in the last 12 months.

11. Termination

• You may terminate your subscription anytime.

• Chrisel reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• For Indian users: Governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Mumbai courts.

• For international users: Subject to applicable local laws, with disputes resolved through arbitration under UNCITRAL rules, seated in India, unless local law requires otherwise.

13. Amendments

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted in-app or on our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
