Refund & Cancellation Policy

Applies to: People’s Byte Enterprise, People’s Byte Pro, People’s Byte Lite, and www.chrisel.net

1. Subscriptions and Services

  • Our products are subscription-based cybersecurity solutions (Enterprise, Pro, Lite) delivered digitally through our apps and website.

  • Since these are digital services, no returns of physical goods are applicable.

  • By purchasing a subscription, you agree that delivery of digital content begins immediately, and therefore standard withdrawal rights under EU/UK law may not apply once access has started.

 

2. Free Trials

  • If you register for a free trial, you may cancel anytime before the trial ends.

  • If you cancel within the trial period, no charges will apply.

 

3. Cancellations

  • You may cancel your active subscription at any time through the app or by contacting our support team at info@chrisel.net.

  • Cancellation stops further auto-renewals.

  • Access to premium features continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

 

4. Refunds

Refunds are available only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment due to a technical error.

  • Wrong plan charged due to a billing issue.

  • Legal or compliance-related refund requirements.

Refund Timeline:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.

  • The refunded amount will be credited back to the original payment method (bank account/card/UPI) used at the time of purchase.

  • Actual posting times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

5. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Mid-cycle cancellations (no partial/prorated refunds).

  • User dissatisfaction after services are delivered as described.

  • Accounts suspended due to violation of Terms & Conditions.

 

6. Currency and Taxes

  • All subscription fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) unless otherwise specified.

  • Local taxes (GST or VAT) may apply depending on your location.

 

7. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

  • All refunds and disputes are governed by the laws of India.

  • International customers may have additional rights under their local consumer protection laws.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
